Liv Design Studio is an award-winning design studio established in 2012 with a strong focus on interior design. It is also Concord Pacific's preferred interior design firm, known for its innovative smart features, amenity plans, and designs that have been emulated by other developers.

As an in-house graphic designer at Liv Design Studio, I had the opportunity to work on the overall look and feel of the Concord Metrotown project during its preliminary stages in 2020/2021. Collaborating with a team of designers and marketing, we developed various branding concepts that included logo design, monograms, signage ads, print designs, web layouts, color schemes, typography, map illustrations, and more.

01

Concept

Concord Metrotown's towers are represented in the form of "M" within the concept of connected community, balanced wellness and building for the future with our high-tech community. The concept aims to demonstrate a perfect balance that evokes equilibrium by harmonizing the mind, body, and community through design.

02

Logo Design Refinement

After multiple rounds of logo exploration, the stakeholders ultimately decided to proceed with a handwritten typeface of their choice. I assisted the team in purchasing the font and further refined and tweaked the handwritten typeface to align with the brand's vision. I ensured that the logo maintained a continuous handwritten style without any squared edges, while also preserving the original horizontal proportions.

3 Zones Podium Map

I assisted the team in adjusting the podium map by incorporating the brand colors and adding relevant zone details.

07

Building Illustrations

I meticulously traced the custom building structure based on the rendering images. This illustration was specifically created to be used as part of the marketing collateral designs in both print and digital advertisements during the preliminary stages.
