I'm Prateeba Perumal, a Sr. Graphic Designer based in Vancouver, Canada, I am originally from Malaysia. My multicultural background brings a diverse perspective to my work, allowing me to incorporate unique elements and influences into my designs.

I graduated from Emily Carr University of Art + Design with a Bachelors of Communication Design. Prior to that, I received a three-year Diploma in Graphic Design majoring Advertising and Multimedia from Limkokwing University, Malaysia.

I have accumulated extensive experience in the creative industry over the years and am currently a Visual Designer at BC Children's Hospital Foundation. Prior to this, I held the position of Senior Designer at Me&Ideas Creative Agency which ceased operations in May 2023.

With over 11 years of freelance and 7 years of in-house experience, I have developed brands and collaborated with clients from diverse industries such as food + beverage, publishing, interior design, consumer packaged goods, retail, literary agency, tech, games, healthcare, hospitality, SaaS, real estate, corporate, e-commerce, fundraising campaign, non-profit and educational institutes. My design work spans both print and digital platforms, helping startup and mid-size businesses implement impactful design tools to fuel their business growth.

When I'm not fully immersed in design, exploring typefaces, or scrolling through Pinterest, I usually unleash my inner artist through watercolours. In my spare time, you'll often find me reading books, embarking on refreshing nature walks along scenic trails, and planning my next adventure by scratching off the map.
