Happy Hanukkah

The Hanukkah packaging design is inspired by traditional Hanukkah symbolic items used to celebrate the miracle of the Festival of Lights. The main goal was to create a premium gift that honors and reflects the beautiful Jewish holiday, which lasts for eight days. In addition to the menorah, the design includes other iconography such as the dreidel, gelt, dove with an olive branch, Stars of David, and goblet. These items have historical and cultural significance and have been associated with Hanukkah and Judaism as a whole for centuries.

The colour palette is related to the religious meaning of the holiday, therefore, I have incorporated blue, white, and silver, along with secondary colours that support the packaging designs. The special finish on the packaging design includes matte and gloss varnish, along with foil stamping that adds elegance to the overall look. The silver and gold foils highlight the significance of specific elements of the holiday. This design is intended to be a memorable gift to family and friends.

Challenges I encountered while working on the design included considering how the designs could be expanded into different formats, how the illustration and messaging would appear, and how the product could be displayed on retail shelves in an appealing way that draws customers' attention while maintaining brand standards.
