Every great dream
begins with a dreamer
The project D R E A M is a personal fun project I created for someone special. The illustration depicts a child's dream and vivid imagination, with the aim of presenting it in an illustration form. The tone and mood of the illustration and poster design are friendly and childlike, capturing the innocence and wonder of a child's imagination.
After developing the sketch, I scanned the artwork and made a few edits using Adobe Photoshop by creating layers of textures. Then, I used Adobe Illustrator to add colors while keeping the textured artwork as the base to maintain the original sketch. Additionally, I added a dreamy effect on top of the colouring to transport the child to a soothing dreamlike realm when the child look at the artwork. The below gif demonstrates the steps I took to produce the illustration.
