ABAC III
Conference
The Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) is a regional economic forum established in 1989 to leverage the growing interdependence of the Asia-Pacific. Their aim is to create greater prosperity for the people of the region by promoting balanced, inclusive, sustainable, innovative and secure growth and by accelerating regional economic integration.
The APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC) held its third meeting at The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto in preparation for its high-level debriefing with APEC leaders. This is a one-day event that focuses on start-ups and micro, small, and medium-size enterprises (MSMEs) in the APEC region.
Date: July 24 - 27, 2017
Venue: Ritz-Carlton Hotel
Location: Toronto, Ontario
The Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada (APF Canada) is a not-for-profit organization focused on Canada's relations with Asia. As their in-house graphic designer, I have adapted the APEC and ABAC team's overall brand standards in support of the ABAC III Conference. I designed a cohesive marketing collateral for the ABAC III conference, including a brochure, pocket folder, retractable banner, podium sign, large format backdrop banner, ABACx logo mark, and publication design.
The project goal was to create a design that was appealing, sleek, simple and highlights the title of the event and the sponsor's logos. Throughout the design process, I had to consider the event's atmosphere and ensure that the final set-up of the deliverables was properly displayed throughout the event.
